How should architecture be exhibited today, and what is the significance and contribution of these exhibitions?
Forty Czech and foreign theorists, curators, architects, and artists who have long been involved with this topic offer different answers to these questions in the form of exhibition works of art or theoretical contributions to the publication.
The exhibition and the eponymous accompanying book Exhibit Architecture (Gočár Gallery, Automatic Mills complex in Pardubice, October 4, 2025 – February 22, 2026) will be complemented by two-day international conference (February 19–20) featuring theorists, active artists, and architects.
Thanks to this event, interested members of the general cultural public, experts, and students will have the opportunity to meet prominent figures from the Czech and international scene in person, listen to lectures, and participate in debates.
It is certainly worth noting that personal meetings and lively discussions were the most frequently mentioned benefits of organizing architectural exhibitions in the individual essays in the above-mentioned publication.
Admission to the conference will be free.
